The building automation system provides centralized control and monitoring for the residential complex developed by DS Stroy LLC, implemented by integrator M TECHNIC LLC.

The system controls:

  • Individual heating plants (IHP)
  • Ventilation
  • Lighting
  • Power distribution
  • Waste management and drainage

The primary objective of the project was to replace the Western software solution Honeywell EBI with the Russian-developed MasterSCADA platform. The transition to the domestic solution successfully eliminated limitations imposed by the previous system, providing enhanced functionality and operational flexibility.

The new system introduced several significant capabilities previously unavailable:

  • Remote Equipment Control: the ability to adjust start-up and shutdown times for equipment from a remote location
  • Advanced Visualization: expanded libraries featuring comprehensive equipment imagery and visualization tools

These enhancements have significantly improved operational efficiency and system functionality, providing a more robust and flexible solution for process control and monitoring.

Внедрение новой системы также включало ряд других целей:

Equipment fault monitoring;
Trending and data analysis;
Ensuring low latency in feedback signal transmission;
Faster equipment startup;
Monitoring connectivity between subsystems.

The operator's main screen provides convenient access to key facility management systems: ventilation, ITP (Individual Heat Station), power supply, fire safety, and other engineering subsystems. Control elements are displayed as user-friendly buttons, grouped by functionality.

Решение

The project utilized MasterSCADA 4D as a unified platform for engineering systems management. Data acquisition is handled via OWEN SPK107 controllers using the OPC protocol, covering approximately 2,000 data points for comprehensive equipment monitoring and control.

MasterSCADA 4D demonstrated:

  • High system responsiveness
  • User-friendly interface
  • Efficient use of pre-built components
  • Excellent scalability

The use of standardized templates significantly accelerated development, minimizing integration time and reducing implementation efforts while ensuring effective centralized facility management.

The system offers flexible point binding and parameter configuration, ensuring ease of implementation and operation. It fully meets performance, reliability, and operator usability requirements while providing expansion capabilities for future upgrades.
