Назначение системы

The Measurement System for the Quantity and Quality Parameters of Crude Oil and Gas at DNS-1 of the Taylakovskovskoye Field, owned by "Slavneft-Megionneftegaz" PJSC (hereinafter the System), is designed for the gross mass measurement and net mass determination of crude oil—which accounts for the mass of ballast based on laboratory data and readings from in-line Near-Infrared (NIR) analyzers including a density meter, water-cut meter, and temperature and pressure transmitters—as well as for the measurement of gas volume during custody transfer operations.

The primary objective of implementing the new system is to enhance the accuracy of oil and gas measurement across all stages of technological operations. The system was designed to address the need for automating data collection, processing, and archiving processes, as well as enabling remote equipment control. A key focus was placed on reducing import dependency by replacing foreign systems with their Russian-made equivalents.

The block diagram depicts a monitoring and control system for the Taylakovskoye field, built on a controller and SCADA-based architecture. The control cabinets house the controllers, which exchange data using the Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols. Information is transmitted to two Human-Machine Interface (HMI) stations: a primary one running Windows 10 and a backup on Astra Linux, both with the MasterSCADA RT software installed. Communication between components is handled via RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces, and data is forwarded to the server at PJSC "SN-MNG" using OPC DA.

The new development environment leveraged advanced solutions, including object typing, proprietary libraries, C# scripting for data table processing, and the use of external function blocks (EFBs) for performing mathematical calculations. All these elements enabled system standardization and ensured its compliance with metrological requirements. Following a system assessment, it was certified for use on Custody Transfer Metering Systems (CTMS) for oil and oil & gas mixtures.

The Custody Transfer Metering System (CTMS) mimic diagram displays the oil accounting and transportation process through three metering lines. Each line monitors flow parameters, including mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, pressure, and temperature. Lines #1 and #2 are in an operational state with data being recorded correctly, while Line #3 shows deviations, highlighted in red, indicating a parameter non-conformity. The system enables the forecasting of oil pumping volumes and also displays real-time data for mass and volume.

The Custody Transfer Metering System (CTMS) for Gas mimic diagram displays the status of several gas measurement nodes. Each node provides data on pressure, temperature, flow rate, as well as the accumulated and daily gas volume. Color coding is also used to indicate operational status or communication loss.

Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring system flexibility, enabling its adaptation for other production facilities and seamless integration with the customer's existing control systems.

The system performs the acquisition, processing, and display of process parameters;
Data archiving;
Remote control of process equipment;
System function access control;
Automatic report generation;
Database management using the PostgreSQL DBMS;
Data delivery to the customer's Process Automation System (PAS) via the OPC DA protocol.

Результат

Software Certification:

The VFB software was certified according to the following standards: MI 2676-2001, R 50.2.077-2014, GOST R 8.883-2015, MI 2174-91. A Metrological Certification Certificate for the algorithm and calculation program was received from FSUE VNIIR. The VFB was assigned registration number 32014-21 and approved for use in SILN and SILNS systems.

Import Substitution Implementation:

A DCS reconstruction program is being developed to replace imported equipment and software with Russian counterparts. The developed system is positioned as a replacement for existing foreign software across all customer facilities.
